Odour-management additives neutralise or mask residues carried through from the material's previous life, and Fragrance Masterbatches can be used where an actively pleasant scent is wanted. Neither substitutes for good washing and devolatilisation upstream — they handle what remains.

Not necessarily, but it does mean matching the material to the application honestly. Thick-walled, non-critical, dark products take high recyclate fractions with no visible compromise.
