Toys

Our premium Masterbatches and Polymer Compounds are specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of the toy industry. From bright, attractive colors to exceptional durability and child-safe formulations, our solutions help manufacturers create high-quality toys that are safe, long-lasting, and visually appealing.

Engineered for excellent processability and consistent performance, our materials are compatible with injection moulding, blow moulding, and extrusion processes used in toy production.

Frequently Asked Questions

What safety requirements apply to masterbatch used in toys?

Toy standards restrict the migration of certain heavy metals and other substances from the finished product, which constrains which pigments can be used — some traditional bright pigments are not usable in toy applications. Compliance is assessed grade by grade against the specific standard your customer requires, so tell us which one applies and we will confirm what we can supply against it. See our certifications.

Can you produce bright, saturated colours within toy safety limits?

Yes, though the pigment set available is narrower than for industrial applications, and a few very intense historic shades are simply not achievable within the restrictions. In practice most brand palettes can be matched. Send us the target shade and the standard together, and we will show you what is achievable rather than promise the match first. See Color Masterbatches.

Do you have fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark options for toys?

Yes, both are in our Special Effect Masterbatches range. Fluorescent pigments give the intense, almost glowing daylight colours used on outdoor and sports toys. Phosphorescent glow-in-the-dark pigment absorbs light and re-emits it over a period of hours after the light is removed. Both have to be assessed against the applicable toy standard for your market.

Which processes do your toy masterbatches suit?

Injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion — the three processes that cover most toy production. Tell us which one and at what melt temperature; effect pigments in particular are shear-sensitive and a formulation that works in blow moulding may be broken down by an aggressive injection screw.

How do I make toy parts more durable?

Impact performance comes mainly from the base polymer and part design, but additives help at the margins — UV stabiliser for outdoor toys that would otherwise become brittle, antioxidants to limit degradation during processing, and anti-warp grades where dimensional stability affects fit. All are in our Additive Masterbatches range.

Can you add fragrance to toys?

Yes, through our Fragrance Masterbatches range, and it is used on novelty and stationery items. Because toys go into children's hands and mouths, the fragrance system has to be assessed against the same toy safety standard as everything else in the part — tell us the standard before we develop it.

Do you make toy masterbatch in India?

Yes. Life Color Pigments & Masterbatches is a toy masterbatch manufacturer in India, supplying colour, effect and additive masterbatch for the toy industry from Vasai East, Palghar, Maharashtra. Read more about us, see our certifications, or contact us.

Tell us the toy standard your customer requires, the polymer and the shades you need — we will confirm what we can supply against it and send a sample to trial.
