We understands that safety and minimising downtime are crucial in the Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication industries. To address these needs, we have developed specialised masterbatches that meet the stringent plastic requirements and standards for all related applications. Our extensive experience in crafting thermoplastic compounds, and colour and performance additives, has established us as a leader in supplying specialised polymer materials for these critical sectors. With decades of expertise, we are committed to providing innovative solutions that ensure reliability and safety in every application.
Because carbon black is electrically conductive. In insulation you need enough for UV protection and colour but not so much that you compromise the dielectric properties — too much black in an insulation layer is an electrical failure waiting to happen. In semi-conductive screens the requirement is the opposite. The loading is a specification, not a preference. See Black Masterbatches and carbon black and UV protection.
Yes. Core identification colours have to be unambiguous, consistent between production lots and stable over the life of the cable, because an installer is relying on them years after manufacture. That makes batch-to-batch consistency more important than the initial match. See Color Masterbatches and why colour drifts between batches.
Flame retardant masterbatch is part of our Additive Masterbatches range. Flame retardancy is always specified against a particular test standard at a particular wall thickness, so a grade that passes at 3 mm may not pass at 1.5 mm. Tell us the rating, the test and the polymer and we will formulate against that rather than against a generic claim.
UV protection sized for permanent outdoor exposure, plus heat stabilisers where the component runs warm. Black carbon-based systems give the most durable screen; coloured enclosures rely on a UV stabiliser package plus lightfast pigment selection. See Additive Masterbatches and our building and construction page.
Yes. Connectors, housings and switchgear components are commonly moulded in polyamide, PBT, polycarbonate and ABS, which need a resin-matched carrier and a heat-stable pigment set at 280–300°C melt temperatures. See Engineering Polymer Masterbatches.
An antistatic masterbatch from our Additive Masterbatches range dissipates the surface charge that attracts airborne dust. In electrical and electronic assemblies this is more than cosmetic — dust accumulation affects cooling, and static discharge is a risk around sensitive components.
Yes. Life Color Pigments & Masterbatches is an electrical masterbatch manufacturer in India, supplying black, identification colour and additive masterbatch for the wire, cable, electronics and telecommunication industries from Vasai East, Palghar, Maharashtra. Read more about us or contact us.
Tell us the cable construction or component, the polymer and the standard you are testing to — we will confirm what we can supply against it and send a sample to trial.
Request a sampleTell us the polymer, the process and roughly how much you need a month. We come back with a grade recommendation and a price — not a brochure.
