Ever since the early 1990’s, plastics have increasingly been recognized as an alternative to traditional building materials. As the construction industry is highly diverse in its applications and requirements, We provide innovative ideas and solutions to your construction challenges.
We provide a comprehensive range of colors and additives concentrates. The following examples give insight of all the products you can find our broad product-range in:
Anything permanently exposed: geo-membranes, roofing, composite fencing and decking, safety nets and tapes, barricades, speed breakers and outdoor storage tanks. These are long-service products where failure is expensive to replace, so the stabiliser package should be sized against the service life you are quoting. See carbon black and UV protection and our Additive Masterbatches range.
Black, at a carbon black loading and dispersion quality set by the exposure and design life — geo-membranes are a long-life, buried or partially exposed application where replacement is effectively impossible. Dispersion is as important as loading, because undispersed agglomerates are both weak points and unprotected ones. See Black Masterbatches.
Yes. Profiles are usually matched to an architectural colour reference and have to hold that shade across long production runs and years of sunlight, so pigment lightfastness matters as much as the initial match. We match on your actual polymer and profile geometry. See Color Masterbatches, our shade card and why colour drifts between batches.
Colour and additive masterbatch for the pipe industry, including the identification colours that pipe standards require. Compliance against a specific pipe standard is determined grade by grade, so tell us which standard your customer requires and we will confirm what we can supply against it. See water tanks and pipes and our certifications.
Chemical foaming agent masterbatch is part of our Additive Masterbatches range and is used to create controlled cellular structure — lower density, better thermal and acoustic insulation, and higher relative stiffness per unit weight. Tell us the polymer and the density reduction you are targeting.
Usually pigment lightfastness rather than polymer degradation. Different pigments in a blended shade fade at different rates, so a mixed formulation drifts towards whichever component is most stable — which reads as an uneven or shifted colour. The fix is to formulate outdoor shades from a lightfast pigment set from the start. See Color Masterbatches.
Construction is one of the better applications for it — many components are thick-walled, non-critical on appearance and often specified in black, which covers a variable recyclate base. Our Recycling Masterbatches range handles the colour and processability side. See also masterbatch for recycled and PCR plastic and our sustainability approach.
Yes. Life Color Pigments & Masterbatches is a construction masterbatch manufacturer in India, supplying colour and additive concentrates for geo-membranes, pipe, roofing, profiles, decking and safety products from Vasai East, Palghar, Maharashtra. Read more about us or contact us.
Tell us the component, the polymer and how long it has to survive outdoors — we will recommend a colour and additive package and send a sample to trial.
Request a sampleTell us the polymer, the process and roughly how much you need a month. We come back with a grade recommendation and a price — not a brochure.
